experimental reading

i'm still dizzy floating world

from all this noise

the weekend at the hotel durant

on of course durant ave

berkeley ca

to see the arcade fire at the greek

great show great band

lotsa cigarette smoke pot smoke & beer

sunday morning on telegraph ave

watching the freaks & students wake up

bought a number of books at moe's

the greatest bookstore on earth

or one of the greatest

i've read half stranger in town by cedar sigo

and picked thru aufgabe #9

discovered in the latter the poems

of craig cotter who i must read more of

tired still must be the big ol' texan sun

makes me dizzy in my head

berkeley is my kind of town

It's quite intoxicating - isn't it? - that sense of finding a poet whose work you need to read more of.

agreed, ryan. i've googled cotter and found a few poems here and there but he writes in a way that evokes say the this and that of the nyc school and if any group of poets would make excellent bloggers it is the nyc school which means i think cotter should be doing some serious blogging.
