oh yes ms. harvey, and morrisey, and ozzy, esp. circa black sabbath. jess, forgot how powerful ozzy in full throat, like on _masters of reality_ in its entirety is.

jean, liz fraser is a particular standout for me. got into the cocteau twins only a couple of years ago after rummaging their recording out of anna's old cassette tapes drawer, yep she has hundreds of cassettes from the 80s and 90s. fraser is a beauty, her voice, so powerful. couldn't just figure out what the ehll language she sings in, until i read later that she made it up as she went along.

Yes, I love Fraser's voice. She was scheduled to reunite with Cocteau Twins this summer in Coachella, for which I bought tickets, but alas -- Fraser herself cancelled it. They have come out with a new box set of previously unreleased stuff (I think) but it's only being sold in UK & EU.

Found out about Fraser from listening to Jeff Buckley.
